We are excited to introduce Beaker- a new way for anyone to engage with the ethical and environmental footprints of the things around them.

We started Beaker after our own struggles in determining the ethical and environmental footprints of brands and organizations around us.  When we found that most of the data regarding this was available, but simply hard to reach, we sought to bridge this gap using our expertise.

Using recent advancements in data science, we have sifted through millions of products and hundreds of company reports already. By visualizing this data, we hope to answer questions that ourselves and many others have had. We are excited to share this with the world.

This project is fueled by our shared passion regarding this problem. Kiana, a lifelong environmentalist and co-founder of Intersectional Environmentalist, and Farzaan, a disgruntled engineer raised by Bangladeshi family who has experienced the ills of working for the garment industry.
